Body
WHEREAS, the City Council on June 27th and September 5th, 2012 respectively by Resolution #12-1681 and 12-1223 authorized the Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Metropolitan Council for Livable Communities Demonstration Account grants; and
      
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council approved Livable Communities Demonstration Account Grants, Tax Base Revitalization Account Contamination Cleanup Program (TOD) and Local Housing Incentives Account Grants for:  Aurora St. Anthony/Sands Co. for Old Home Plaza $1,558,361, Episcopal Homes for Midway Pointe $100,000, Prior Crossing Youth Housing $609,500 and $317,415, Sherman Associates for Rayette Lofts $348,101.00, Model Cities for Brownstone $646,020 and $182,600.00 and Central Exchange for $ 110,550.00, District Del Sol Redevelopment $40,000.00, City Limits for $1,944,774.00 and Rebuilding Together Twin Cities for $50,000.00 and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $ 5,907,321.00 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2012 budget and recommends the changes to the 2012 budget identified on Attachment A:
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts these grants and approves the changes identified on Attachment A to the 2012 budget.
