Authorizing the Department of Safety and Inspections to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement for Twin Cities Public Health and Environmental Health Mutual Aid.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul wishes to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with indemnification provision for regional mutual aid to strengthen public and environmental health preparedness and response.
WHEREAS, Saint Paul desires to be prepared to adequately address public and environmental health emergencies that may occur within the City and agrees to furnish assistance to other participating governmental units under the terms of the Agreement; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council does hereby authorize the proper City Officials to execute the Joint Powers Agreement for Twin Cities Public Health and Environmental Health Mutual Aid.
