Accepting a Dedication of Easement from the Scheffer Lane Townhome Association, Inc., dedicating a public alley on the west 18 feet of the Association's property near 781 Scheffer Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, the Scheffer Lane Townhome Association ("Association") has determined that the west 18 feet of its common element parcel has been used for many years as an alleyway by three residential properties along Canton Street immediately north of Scheffer Avenue, as shown on the "Map of Townhome Association Property" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Association wishes to dedicate the alleyway to the City for permanent use as a public alley, as described and depicted in the executed "Dedication of Easement" and Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has no objection to acceptance of said alleyway as a public alley; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts said Dedication of Easement, and directs and authorizes the proper city officials to record it with the Ramsey County Recorder's Office or Registrar of Titles.
