Accepting a donated vehicle for the Mobile Workplace program.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency conducts a Mobile Workplace program; and
WHEREAS, the Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library own the vehicle which has been used for this program; and
WHEREAS, the Friends wish to donate the vehicle to the City, for use by the Library in the Mobile Workplace program; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works would accept title to the vehicle and the Library would pay Public Works the costs of operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing the vehicle; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the donation of a vehicle to be owned by Public Works and used by the Saint Paul Public Library Agency in conducting the Mobile Workplace program, and thanks the Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library for its generous donation.
