Approving the reconveyance of a tax forfeit parcel to the State of Minnesota for subsequent conveyance to ISD #625 for 1499 Brompton Street (Murray Athletic Field).

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, by Ramsey County Recorder's Office document No.0198040 & State Deed No.1000752, dated October 9, 1941, acquired a Conveyance of Forfeited Lands Use Deed for a parcel of land at 1499 Brompton Avenue, as depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto, and described as:
Lots three (3) to twenty two (22) inclusive, Block eight (8), and Lots one (1) to twelve (12) inclusive, Block twenty four (24), in St. Anthony Park North; and
WHEREAS, said Use Deed Parcel was acquired for public recreation field and playground purposes by the City of Saint Paul for the Murray High School Athletic Field Site,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to reconvey said Use Deed parcel under Minnesota Statutes, Section 282.01, Subdivision 1d, to the State of Minnesota, to be held in trust according to Minnesota Statutes, Section 281.25, so the parcels may be conveyed to Independent School District No. 625, pursuant to Chapter 705, Laws of Minnesota for 1965; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul do hereby authorize the proper City officials to execute an application of recoveyance, attached hereto as Exhibit B, for said Use Deed Parcel to the State of Minnesota, and to pay all related recording fees, said sum to be charged to Activity Code 001-09051.
