Authorizing a grant of easement from the City of Saint Paul to the Saint Paul Port Authority for the benefit of the Port-owned Barge Terminal # 2 property.
Body
WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul (the "Port") owns a riverfront parcel of land identified as Barge Terminal # 2 ("BT-2 parcel"), as depicted in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Port requests an easement from the City of Saint Paul (the "City") for ingress, egress and utility purposes for the benefit of the BT-2 parcel, which easement was contemplated pursuant to the exhibit attached to the deed executed between the City and the Port, dated June 15, 1966 and recorded as document number 1678575 in Ramsey County records Book 2030, Page 68, on June 17, 1966, as depicted in Exhibit B attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to grant said ingress/egress easement to the Port, as depicted in yellow in Exhibit C and described in the Dedication of Easement in Exhibit D attached hereto; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul do hereby approve said Dedication of Easement in a form and content substantially as set forth in Exhibit D, and authorize and direct the proper city officials to execute and deliver said Easement to the Port for recording with Ramsey County.
