Purpose of Appeal
The building is being sold to Metro State. Closing will be in Nov. or Dec. 2012. Please see attached e-mails from Metro State to St. Paul inspector. If need be, I am available to go in front of the hearing judge on Sept. 25, 2012.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Tony Joseph to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 381 BATES AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant until July 1, 2013 for painting and repairing the west damaged soffit if the house is not sold to Metro State and subsequently demolished; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
