Purpose of Appeal
Historically, this duplex has been used with the deficiencies of ceiling heights in the basement and the egress windows. Owners are retired and to require the property to conform would be a significant financial hardship. We request these deficiencies be grandfathered in.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Alan L. Peterson to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 1010 CASE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the basement ceiling; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
