Ratifying Collection of Vacant Building Fees from April 2012 (File No. VB1209, Assessment No. 128814).
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 12-1068 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Vacant Building Fees from the month of April 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on September 5, 2012 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Ch. 14 of the City Charter and Ch. 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are herby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 12-485 - 522 Charles Avenue;
RLH TA 12-385 - 576 Maryland Avenue West;
RLH TA 12-425 - 758 Sixth Street East;
RLH TA 12-386 - 1235 Sixth Street East;
RLH TA 12-XXX - 474 Curtice Street East; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
