Appeal of Bill Bernier to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 287 PAGE STREET EAST.
Purpose of Appeal
The order for the removal, repair & rebuilding of the fallen part of the retaining wall belonging to the neighbor is being appealed because this wall belongs to and exists for the sole benefit for the neighboring properties with no benefit at all to my property. This wall was apparently built by these property owners so they would be able to build sheds up to the very back inch of their lots. These sheds--one of which is gone--were also built without regard to the proper rear set back requirements and, therefore, needs to be moved.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Bill Bernier to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 287 PAGE STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant to November 1, 2012 for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
