Authorizing the Department of Parks & Recreation to accept a gift of $250 for general operations, from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Dollars for Doers in recognition of Deborah Johannessen's volunteer service.

WHEREAS, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Provides Contribution to the City of Saint Paul Parks & Recreation Department on behalf of Deborah Johannessen; and
WHEREAS, in recognition of Deborah Johannessen's commitment to the community and for her outstanding service, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota has contributed $250 to the City of Saint Paul Parks & Recreation Department on her behalf as part of the Dollars for Doers program for Blue Cross employees; and
WHEREAS, the donation will support general operations in the Parks & Recreation Department; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of this gift and thanks Deborah Johannessen and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota for their generous donation.
