Body
WHEREAS, the City Council on March 7, 2012 by Resolution #12-377 authorized the Director of the Department of Planning and Economic Development to apply to the Metropolitan Council for Livable Communities Demonstration Account grants; and
      
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council approved Livable Communities Demonstration Account Transit Oriented Development (TOD) grants of $2,000,000.00 for Hamline Station (1333 University), $2,000,000.00 for Episcopal Homes' 1890 University Apts. and $979,100.00 for Central Exchange Phase I and Tax Based Revitalization Account (TBRA) grants of $412,521.00 for Schimdt Brewery Phase 2, $500,612.00 for Hamline Station (1333 University Avenue) and $125,000.00 $216,000.00 for 753 E. 7th Street /former Cerenity Care Center and  
 
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $6,017,233.00 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2012 budget and recommends the changes to the 2012 budget identified on Attachment A:
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts these grants and approves the changes identified on Attachment A to the 2012 budget.
