Appeal of Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, on behalf of Dominiques Perkins, to a Certificate of Occupancy Revocation and Order to Vacate at 1155 SEVENTH STREET WEST.
Purpose of Appeal
None of the repairs listed in the 6/1/12 revocation of certificate of occupancy & order to vacate are life/safety or tenant-caused issues. In fact, none of the items relate to the interiors of the units at all. The tenants in the building report being very happy and would like to remain there. I spoke to the owner and he is willing to work with DSI to resolve outstanding issues.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Dominiques Perkins to a Certificate of Occupancy Revocation and Order to Vacate at 1155 SEVENTH STREET WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension to August 1, 2012 to vacate the property; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
