Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation in the amount of $1000 from the Men's Midway Club, 456 Idaho Avenue West, Saint Paul, MN 55117, for the Adaptive Recreation Program.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation, through its Adaptive Recreation Program offers many events, classes or activities during the year,
and
WHEREAS, many of the participants of the Adaptive Recreation program are on a limited income; and
WHEREAS, Men's Midway Club wishes to donate $1,000 to the Parks and Recreation Department to be used for the Adaptive Recreation Program; and
WHEREAS, the money will be used to assist in providing affordable activities in the Adaptive Recreation Program; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accpets the donation in the amount of $1,000, appropriates it for use by the Adaptive Recreation Program, and thanks the Men's Midway Club for its generous donation.
