Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Driver license renewal application submitted by Abdikani Mohamed Khalif.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Driver license renewal application submitted by Abdikani Mohamed Khalif d/b/a Abdikani Mohamed Khalif (License ID #20090000755) for the City of Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Deny Taxicab Driver Renewal License dated May 9, 2012, alleging the licensee's Minnesota Driver's License had been suspended as of October 31, 2011 in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 376.16 (h); and
WHEREAS, as a result, the licensing office recommended license denial; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny Taxicab Driver Renewal License to request a hearing or withdraw his license application; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Deny Taxicab Driver Renewal License stated that if the licensee failed to request a hearing or withdraw his license application by May 21, 2012, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Driver Renewal License application submitted by Abdikani Mohamed Khalif d/b/a Abdikani Mohamed Khalif is hereby denied.
