Authorizing Police Department and Emergency Management to accept a grant amendment extending the 2009 Minnesota Joint Analysis Center (MNJAC) grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department has received an amendment to the 2009 Minnesota Joint Analysis Center (MNJAC) grant (CF 10-676-Attachment A) from the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division; and
WHEREAS, the amendment extends the term of the award to July 31, 2012 and reduces the award amount from $82,000.00 to $77,700.80; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant amendment and authorizes the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith and the appropriate city officials to execute and implement the attached agreement with the State of Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
