Amending the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Services in October 2010 to delete the assessment at 730 EARL STREET. (File No. VB1103, Assessment No. 118004)

WHEREAS, on February 16, 2011 the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RES 11-331, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment at 730 EARL STREET for Collection of Vacant Building Services in October 2010. (File No. VB1103, Assessment No. 118004); and
WHEREAS, the property at 730 Earl Street, being described as: Terrys Addition N 45 Ft Of S 97 95/100 Ft Of Fol Lots 13 And Lot 14 Blk 10 with the property identification number 28-29-22-43-0192 was assessed an amount of $1,344.76 for delinquent vacant building fees; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends deleting the assessment as it was made in error. Department of Safety and Inspections will refund $672.38 as the owner paid the first half of the 2012 property taxes and Real Estate will abate the assessment of $672.38 from the second half of the 2012 taxes; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Council File No. RES 11-331 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
