Purpose of Appeal
All windows were replaced in 2002 as per proposal (attached) which included a permit. For egress purposes the bedroom windows are too small. We would like a variance for the bedroom windows.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Colleen Mikesh and Barbara Baran to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 283 CLARENCE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 4.5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the main floor northeast and northwest bedrooms; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
