Purpose of Appeal
Inspection on 3-22-12 regarding replacement of 1st and 2nd floor windows.  High cost and time allowed.  Home built in 1915 was my father's and mother's residence.  I resided at property for 7 years caring for my mother.  Wanted to sell it, value has dropped.  Trying to save it for my daughter.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of George Stone to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Correction Notice at 1079 MARYLAND AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 4-inch variance on the egress opening height of the first and second floor west bedrooms; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
