We are appealing 3 replacement windows that will not comply w/egress policy. Current openings will be short by 5" in openable height. Shortcome in height is offset by an excess in openable width of 4". Please approve.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Jeffrey Pounds, to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 1540 PASCAL STREET NORTH; the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of six double hung replacement egress bedroom windows measuring 19 inches high by 24 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
