Accepting the gift of Ordway Theater Tickets on behalf of the Saint Paul Public Library Agency.

WHEREAS, the Ordway Theater has offered the Saint Paul Public Library Agency 50 tickets for library staff to attend a performance on March 25, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Ordway Theater has offered tickets to the staffs of other partner organizations; and
WHEREAS, the tickets will be distributed to staff on a first come, first served basis; and
WHEREAS, the individual acceptance of the tickets by staff is not a prohibited gift under Saint Paul Administrative Code ยง 24.03(C)(3)(e), but the Agency wishes to acknowledge and thank the Ordway for its generous donation of tickets; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the tickets and appropriates them to the intended use for staff of the Saint Paul Public Library Agency and thanks the Ordway Theater, on behalf of the Library, for its generous donation.
