Purpose of Appeal
2 bedroom windows will not open to 24".  These are old double hung windows that are in good condition.  The only problem is they won't go up past 18 inches and the other 22.5 inches.  Please grant a variance for thse windows.  Thank you!

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Terry Korbel to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Correction Notice at 875 MARYLAND AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 6-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the 2nd floor north bedroom, and grant a 1.5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the 2nd floor south bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
