Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of thirty three 5-gallon, empty water bottles from Premium Waters for use in animal enrichment programs at Como Zoo.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department periodically receives unsolicited contributions of money and/or goods from a variety of nonprofit organizations; and
WHEREAS, Premium Waters wishes to donate (33) five gallon empty water bottles to Como Zoo; and
WHEREAS, Como Zoo will provide the bottles to zoo animals for enrichment purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City believes that accepting this donation is a benfit to the animals at Como Zoo by enhancing their lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation of the bottles from Pemium Waters for Como Zoo, and thanks the Premium Waters Company for their generous donation.
