Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of twenty 55-gallon drums from the Coca Cola Company for use in animal enrichment programs at Como Zoo.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department periodically receives unsolicited contributions of money and/or goods from a variety of nonprofit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the Coca Cola Company wishes to donate (20) fifty five gallon drums to Como Zoo; and
WHEREAS, Como Zoo will provide the drums to zoo animals for enrichment purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City believes that accepting this donation is a benfit to the animals at Como Zoo by enhancing their lives; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation of the drums from the Coca Cola Company for Como Zoo, and thanks the Coca Cola Company for their generous donation.
