In the Matter of amending a portion of Public Hearing Resolution #10-471, approved on May 5, 2010, for the construction of bicycle facilities along Jefferson Avenue from Colborne Street to Mississippi River Boulevard; the amendment would include additional traffic calming elements between Snelling Avenue and Mississippi River Boulevard, as referenced in the revised Summary of Engineering Recommendations report.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost of the entire project thereof is $1,000,000.00, financed by a TLC/NTP Grant and 2010/2011 CIB funds.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 4th day of April, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the affected persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
