Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Parks and Recreation in the amount of $9,750 to accept a grant from the Recreation Equipment Inc (REI) to support volunteer programming in the area of Natural Resources.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has received a $9,750 grant from the Recreation Equipment Inc (REI); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this grant is to support volunteer programming in the area of Natural Resources; and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation has received approval to accept this grant (RES PH 12-27) and now wishes to increase the financing and spending authority in its Grant and Aid fund to accurately reflect this additional revenue and spending; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $9,750 in excess of those estimated in the 2012 Grants and Aid Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $9,750 is available for appropriation in the 2012 Grant and Aid Budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council is hereby further amended as indicated in the attached fiscal analysis form.
