Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (I-35E/Cayuga/Maryland first MnDOT Agreement).

WHEREAS, Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (I-35E/Cayuga/Maryland first MnDOT Agreement).
WHEREAS the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT) plans to reconstruct I-35 between University and Maryland (including bridges), and
WHEREAS the first phase of the project is replacing the Maryland Avenue Bridge (State Project No 6280-353) over I-35E during the 2012 construction season, and
WHEREAS the 2012 adopted Capital Improvement Budget included $500,000 of CIB funds as part of the City's share of this project.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter in MN/DOT Agreement 00311 with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation and that the Mayor and proper city officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
