Purpose of Appeal
15 new windows have been installed in the home.  One bedroom has two windows, and the larger window almost is compliant (see attached).

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Twin Cities Siding Professionals, on behalf of Mary and Vic Bowman, to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 1827 ELEANOR AVENUE; the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 6.5-inch variance on the openable height of two double hung replacement egress windows measuring 17.5 inches high by 27 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
