Appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Carol Engel, to two Egress Window Non-Compliance Determinations at 2053 PALACE AVENUE.
 
Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing two double hung replacements that do not comply w/egress.  Openable height 17" on both.  One is located in an "office" not currently being used as a bedroom.  H/O wants both to match.  Both are located on side of home next to each other.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Carol Engel, to two Egress Window Non-Compliance Determinations at 2053 PALACE AVENUE; the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 7-inch variance on the openable height of three replacement bedroom egress windows measuring 17 inches high by 36 inches wide and measuring 17 inches high by 24 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
