Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Vehicle license for Cab #810 held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service, d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Vehicle license for Cab #810 held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service (License ID #20100004074) for the City of Saint Paul, by Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated January 27, 2012, alleging licensee canceled Automobile Liability insurance effective January 10, 2012 in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.06 (g) and also failed to bring Cab #810 in for an annual inspection in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.12 (h) (1); and
WHEREAS, On February 6, 2012, the licensee responded to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License by submitting a current insurance certificate for Cab #810, but according to DSI records the licensee failed to bring Cab #810 in for an annual inspection; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to have the vehicle inspected by February 6, 2012, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Vehicle license for Cab #810 held by Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service d/b/a Twin Cities Airport Taxi & Limo Service is hereby revoked for failure to have vehicle inspected annually as required by Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.12 (h) (1).
