Purpose of Appeal
#1 - Ceiling height of 6'8" in basement bedroom
#2 - Bedroom windows 22" high by 23" wide. Two of them and I may be able to get them up a little bit higher on mail floor only not the attic area.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Kendall Burton to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice With Deficiencies at 1002 SIXTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a variance on the ceiling height issue; grant a 2-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the main floor northeast and south bedrooms; and grant a 6-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the upper floor north bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
