Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of $1099.99 from Hiway Federal Credit Union, for 80 youth to ride the Amtrak Train to and from Red Wing, MN during No School Days Program/Spring Break.

WHEREAS, Hiway Federal Credit Union, 111 Empire Drive, St Paul, MN 55103, wishes to donate $1099.99 for the North Dale No School Days Field Trip; and
WHEREAS, the field trip will involve eighty children from all over the city riding the Amtrak Train to Red Wing, MN and back; and
WHEREAS, the donation will permit the children to afford to participate in this fun and educational field trip; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of this gift and thanks Hiway Federal Credit Union for their generous donation.
