Purpose of Appeal
Need variance on main floor bedrooms.  Inspector stated windows are 1" within code size.  And variance for carbon monoxide inspection because I have multiple CO detectors.  (Note: Appellant called Mai on 1/5/11 and said he wished to appeal all windows)

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Terrence L. Eggum to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 1726 FIFTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 7-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the attic bedroom, and grant a 1-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the main floor bedroom, (the appeal on the carbon monoxide and smoke detector issue was withdrawn); Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
