Appeal of Derek Tanberg, on behalf of The Window Store Home Improvements Inc., to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 894 ARMSTRONG AVENUE.
Purpose of Appeal
Rosemarie (owner) does not want to switch to a casement window style because it will not go with the style of her older home. The DH window we want to install complies with Code on height and width. It just misses on total egress opening area. It is 4.5570 so it is very close to compliance.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Derek Tanberg, on behalf of The Window Store HI, to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 894 ARMSTRONG AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a variance on the glazed area of the two double hung egress bedroom windows; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
