Ratifying the assessments for Boarding and/or Securing Services in August 2011. (File No. J1201B, Assessment No. 128100)

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Emergency Boarding and Securing and or Boarding of Vacant Buildings during the month of August 2011 [RE Project J1201B] and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the following assessments were appealed:
RLH TA 11-445 - 2006 Larpenteur Avenue East; and
RLH TA 11-459 - 651-653 Burr Street; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the cITY Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that said special assessment roll is hereby in all respects ratified, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, And, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that said assessment roll is ratified and payable in one installment unless specified otherwise as a change to this proposed assessment roll.
