Approval to accept a donation of Dry Erase Marker Boards from Building Material Supply, Inc. for use in the City of Saint Paul's recreation facilities.
Body
WHEREAS, Building Materials Supply, Inc., located at 2300 Louisiana Avenue N., Golden Valley, MN 55427, wishes to donate Dry Erase Marker Boards to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Dry Erase Marker Boards are new items returned to Building Materials Supply, Inc. from another municipality; and
WHEREAS, the specific donated items include the following:
5 8' W x 5' H dry erase board panels
17 4' W x 5' H dry erase board panels
6 18" W x 5' H dry erase board panels
2 24" W x 5' H dry erase board panels
5 Metal joiner strips; and
WHEREAS, the value of the dry erase marker boards is approximately $9,545.00; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Building Trades carpenters will install the marker boards at various recreation facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of the dry erase marker boards and appropriates their use to the City of Saint Paul's recreation facilities and sincerely thanks Building Materials Supply, Inc. for their generous donation of these dry erase marker boards.
