FINAL ORDER
In the Matter of approving the construction of the 2012 Residential Street Vitality Project, by constructing new bituminous surfaced streets with concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway aprons and outwalks, and boulevards landscaped with sod and trees. A new lantern style lighting system, associated public art and doing all other necessary work to complete said project. In addition, the appropriate sanitary sewer repairs will be made, lead water services in the right-of-way will be replaced and storm and sanitary sewer connections will be made at the request of affected property owners.
The streets to be improved are as follows:
See attached reports for the areas and streets affected and the properties proposed to be assessed.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improvement and has fully considered the same; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has received sufficient petitions from the property owners of the following blocks requesting the removal of their streets from the 2012 Residential Street Vitality Program and grants their petitions to opt out of the program:
DORA COURT WEST - Upper Afton Road to Dora Lane
DORA LANE - Dora Court West to Dora Court East
DORA COURT EAST - Upper Afton Road to Dora Lane
MILLER CREST LANE - Upper Afton Road south to cul de sac
GRACE LANE - Flandrau Place to White Bear Avenue
WHITE BEAR AVENUE - A Street to C Street
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; an...
