Allowing Cedar Towing & Auction, Inc., d/b/a Cedar Towing and Auction to move its storage lot from its current location at 359 Hoover Street Northeast to 3527 Dight Avenue South in Minneapolis.
Body
WHEREAS, Cedar Towing & Auction, Inc. d/b/a Cedar Towing & Auction currently has a Tow Truck Operator and multiple Tow Truck Vehicle licenses; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 361.12 requires that "no licensee shall tow a motor vehicle
to a storage lot which is outside the limits of the City of Saint Paul unless the location has been specifically approved by the city council" and
WHEREAS, Cedar Towing & Auction has a storage lot located outside the city limits of Saint Paul at 359 Hoover Street Northeast, Minneapolis, Minnesota, which was previously approved by the city council; and
WHEREAS, Cedar Towing & Auction proposes to move its storage lot from its current location to 3527 Dight Avenue South, Minneapolis Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, this new location will be more centrally located to better serve residents of the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections recommends approval of this new storage lot; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the storage lot at 3527 Dight Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota for Cedar Towing & Auction, Inc. d/b/a Cedar Towing & Auction is hereby approved.
