Authorizing the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory to accept a donation of a Thuja occidentalis Eastern Arborvitae ("Temple Tree"), in bonsai form, valued at $8000.00 from David Crust to add to the existing Bonsai Collection at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.

WHEREAS, the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory periodically receives unsolicited contributions of money and/or goods from a variety of sources: and
WHEREAS, David Crust wishes to donate a Thuja occidentalis Eastern Arborvitae ("Temple Tree"), in bonsai form, valued at $8000.00 to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; and
WHEREAS, the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory will display this tree to the general public; and
WHEREAS, The City believes that accepting this donation is a benefit to the citizens of Saint Paul as it enhances the amenities at the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the donation of the
Thuja occidentalis Eastern Arborvitae ("Temple Tree"), in bonsai form, for the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, and thanks David Crust for his generous donation.
