Purpose of Appeal
Bedroom window - Sorry my misunderstanding. I thought because Dave Nelson mailed me the letter--Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination--that I did have to send in this appeal. As you can see, on one form is said I need 5 sq ft, another form is said 5.7 sq ft. The form from Dave on my window is 8.3 sq ft... James the inspector came out today at 11:00 a.m. Explained that I need to do this to be oked I sure hope I did all these right now. If not I guess I start at square one again. Please let me know what else I have to do. Sorry. (paraphrased)

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Vicki Osterkamp to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 1402 FURNESS PARKWAY; the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 2-inch variance on the openable height of one double hung replacement egress bedroom window measuring 22 inches high by 26 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
