Title
Authorizing vacation of City property at 260 5th Street East and conveyance to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA).
 
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul ("City") has determined there is no longer a public purpose for owning and maintaining the city-owned property located at 260 5th Street East, and wishes to vacate its interest in this property; and
 
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from the Department of Planning and Economic Development to convey the property to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul ("HRA") for redevelopment purposes; now, therefore be it
 
RESOLVED, that, upon the petition of the City, as documented in Financial Services/Real Estate File Number 10-2010, the public property described in the attached Exhibit A is hereby vacated and discontinued as public property, subject to the following conditions:
 
1. This vacation shall be subject to the terms and conditions of Chapter 130, codified March 1, 1981, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code as amended.
 
2. Upon vacation of said property, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to convey, by quit claim deed, title to the property to the HRA.
