Authorizing a Professional Services Contract for Lobbying Activities with Messerli & Kramer.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code §45.03 requires that all contracts for lobbying activities be first authorized by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor’s Office wishes to contract with Messerli & Kramer to provide legislative lobbying services for representation before the 2017 Minnesota Legislature for provisions including but not limited to the Midway Site Redevelopment and local government provisions as requested; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the scope of services in the proposed agreement are consistent with the City’s legislative agenda; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into a professional services agreements with Messerli & Kramer.
