Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to apply for and if awarded, accept $500 in grant funds from the St. Clements Faith Action Team.

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting permission to apply $500 in grant funds from the St. Clements Faith Action Team to support the Fork & Film and Nom Nom Nom Cooking Club programs; and
WHEREAS, the grant funds, if awarded, will provide quality cooking class opportunities to the youth of the Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, there are no required matching funds by the City and other supporting agencies of the Fork & Film and Nom Nom Nom Cooking Club programs; and
WHEREAS, the funds will be granted by the St. Clements Faith Action Team; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul finds that the expenditure of these funds to provide quality cooking class opportunities to the youth of the Saint Paul has a public purpose; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to apply for and if awarded accept $500 in grant funds from the St. Clements Faith Action Team.
