Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Solid Waste and Recycling Fund in the amount of $100,000 for new grant funds awarded in 2012.
 
Body
WHEREAS, RES 12-2066, authorized the City of Saint Paul to accept funds from Ramsey County Public Entities Innovation (PEI) Grant in the amount of $100,000 and enter into a grant agreement for a recycling survey, and
WHEREAS, in order to fund the additional costs stated above, the Solid Waste and Energy Company has identified additional funds awarded from the Public Entity Innovation Grant for a total of $100,000, and
WHEREAS, these grant funds that were not used in 2012, due to the grant agreement not being fully executed until January of 2013, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $100,000 in the Solid Waste and Recycling Fund; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, that $100,000 is available for appropriation in the Solid Waste and Recycling Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
