Approving the reimbursement for the 2026 Ward 7 Let’s Talk event series.

WHEREAS the Ward 7 office holds a "Let’s Talk" community discussion monthly to engage constituents in priority topics for the Eastside and Ward 7; and
WHEREAS the purpose of these meetings is to connect with residents in Ward 7 and across the city about topics such as city services, upcoming city changes and ways to improve constituent relationships with local government; and
WHEREAS the expenditure of money for snacks and light refreshments serves a public purpose by fostering community engagement and facilitating discussions among residents; and therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council is authorized to reimburse Councilmember Cheniqua Johnson up to a total $1500.00 for the purchase of snacks and refreshments for the 2026 Let’s Talk community events.
