Title

Approving the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and AFSCME Council 5, Clerical, Local 2508 for the purpose of modifying the Grade Steps for Community Engagement Cadet and Police Enforcement Officer. (To be laid over one week for adoption)

Body

Whereas, the last Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and AFSCME Council 5, Clerical - Local 2508, which was approved by the Saint Paul City Council on August 16, 2023, continues in full force and effect through December 31, 2025, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and

 

Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and AFSCME Council 5, Clerical - Local 2508, reached a tentative agreement on a Memorandum of Agreement that, once approved, shall be effective the pay period following adoption and continue in full force and effect through December 31, 2025, now therefore, be it

 

Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Charter Section 6.03.3(5), hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and AFSCME Council 5, Clerical, Local 2508.
