Establishing the rate of pay for a new classification of Community Engagement Cadet in Grade 016 of EG 01, AFSCME Clerical.

WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a job study for the Police Department and determined a new classification titled Community Engagement Cadet should be created; and
WHEREAS, the results of the classification study instruct that the rate of pay for the Community Engagement Cadet classification be established at the rate set forth in Grade 016 of Employee Group 01, AFSCME Clerical; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Community Engagement Cadet be established at the rate set forth in Grade 016 of EG 01, AFSCME Clerical Salary Schedule. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.
