Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of tickets to local theater and sporting events from Tickets for Kids Charities for youth and their families to attend various events in the metropolitan area.
Body
WHEREAS, Tickets for Kids Charities wishes to donate free tickets to the Department of Parks and Recreation for youth and their families to attend local events in the metropolitan area; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Services, can use the tickets to provide access to social and recreation activities to youth and families while participating in Parks and Recreation activities; and
WHEREAS, Recreation Services is prepared to administer ticket distribution to youth and their families through group field trips and ticket give aways; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul hereby accepts the donation of tickets to local theater and sporting events and thanks Tickets for Kids Charities for its generous donation.
