Approving the Mayor's appointment of Kasey Wiedrich to serve on the Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties.

WHEREAS, Article IV, Section 2 of the bylaws Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties states that one-third (5 members) of the board of directors shall be elected public officials currently holding office or appointed staff from local and county governments in both Ramsey and Washington counties, including county boards, city government, and school boards and eligible individuals must be nominated by the relevant appointing authority and their appointment reviewed by the Bylaws & Membership Committee for election by the full Board; and
WHEREAS, Kasey Wiedrich has been nominated by Mayor Carter to serve on the Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties board of directors; and
WHEREAS, Kasey Wiedrich’s nomination has been reviewed by the Bylaws & Membership Committee for election by the full Board and both bodies have recommended her for appointment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council hereby approves the Mayor’s appointment of Kasey Wiedrich to Community Action Partnership of Ramsey & Washington Counties board of directors for a term ending December 31, 2024.
