Approving the application for change of ownership for 620 Club LLC d/b/a 620 Club for the Liquor On Sale - 100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio), Entertainment (A), and Gambling Location (License ID #20240001045) for the premises located at 620 7th Street West.

WHEREAS, on June 14, 2024, 620 Club LLC d/b/a 620 Club (License ID #20240001045) applied for a change of ownership to the Liquor On Sale - 100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio), Entertainment (A), and Gambling Location license for the premises 620 7th Street West, in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the license application notification was sent out by the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) on June 25, 2024, with a response date of July 10, 2024; and
WHEREAS, in response to the notification no objections or comments were received; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the change of ownership for the Liquor On Sale - 100 seats or less, Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Liquor Outdoor Service Area (Patio), Entertainment (A), and Gambling Location license is hereby approved and issued to 620 Club LLC d/b/a 620 Club (License ID #20240001045) for the premises located at 620 7th Street West, in Saint Paul with the following existing licensing conditions:
1. Per City of Saint Paul Legislative Code 411.02, the definition of Entertainment A is, “Amplified or nonamplified music and/or singing by performers, without limitation as to number, and group singing participated in by patrons of the establishment.” (includes karaoke). Entertainment A license does not allow for patron and/or performance dances.
2. No entertainment is allowed outdoors unless prior written approval is obtained from the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI).
